Guest guest
I am taking " mega ultra women's forumla " vitamins from GNC. They have a ton of everything except calcium. I went to look for extra calcium. I looked at the amounts of everything in the SCD brand on Digestive Wellness and there's not nearly as much in the SCD legals. I found acidopholus/probiotic pills and Nordic Natural omegas. Aren't the Nordic Naturals good? My mom has these and keeps them in the fridge. All of the pills mentioned above were on a regular shelf. Does refrigeration matter esp with omegas/acidopholus? Is soybean oil as a filler legal? I found nothing " totally " legal that I know of--no soy, sugar, etc. etc. but then the filler or capsule had something but I'm not sure if I can detect that properly. So basically, do I need to mail order every vitamin/acidopholus pill or stick with GNC? I'm looking at this like an investment btw . Guest guest
Hi all, This went to the wrong list . Sorry about that and I'm exhausted from errands all day. It's supposed to read...the GNC have a LOT more in the multi-vitamins than the SCD legals. How do I know the recommended amount? Is it on the web or in the book? I know it's illegal but if you get stuck out all day in the car and you didn't expect it--is it really bad to eat Mcs yogurt pack? Guest guest
Hi Debbie, << > It's supposed to read...the GNC have a LOT more in the multi- vitamins > than the SCD legals. How do I know the recommended amount? Is it on > the web or in the book? >> The recomended ranges are in BTVC p66-67 10th edition << I know it's illegal but if you get stuck out all day in the car and you didn't expect it--is it really bad to eat Mcs yogurt pack? >> It isn't a good idea but you can't change what happened. If you have a bad reaction - to the intro for a day or two to 'clean' out the Mc's. When I have gotten stuck with nothing to eat away from home I pick up a pull tab can of sardines and some bottled water. If I know I am going to be gone a long time I make a little sandwich and pack it in a bag with a freezer pack along with a juice bottle filled with diluted orange juice. I make quick sandwich bread with 1/2 avocado whipped with 1-2 eggs. Fry like pancakes.
