The Puestow does drain the entire pancreas since the duct is open from the

head to the tail and then connected to a loop of small intestine so that the

entire pancreas, both the head and the tail, can drain directly into the

intestines. I am not sure what other procedure they may be talking about. If I

find something else, I will let you know.
