Guest guest
Hi ya'll, I haven't been responding to post lately but have been reading what ya'll have written. My thoughts and prayes are with each and every one of you. I also had problems with hair, turned bright orange, got all these yucky little blisters on my scalp and the hair fell out big time. I was told it was because fat and protein malnutrition. I started taking vit E, biotin, amino acids and flax seed oil pills every day along with my other vits and mins and could see some postive results within a month. My periods were/are whacky and was told that was due to the stress hormones that were released combating my female hormones. Relaxation techniques and a little ativan helped with that. I have not taken ativan in months and the irregularities have returned. Stress me? Naa...lol. I saw the surgeon yesterday and I do have a big incisional hernia. He told me that mesh will have to be used and that upset me terribly as the last time I had mesh placed there was a horrendous reaction to it that lasted 6 months until it was finally removed. It was a nightmare that still haunts me. Anyway he said that if mesh was not used the stiching would just tear again but he will use a different type of mesh this time. He also felt it could be done laporascopically. That would be great, less time in the hospital, less recovery time and less risks of harming those precious little iselts I had transplanted. The surgery is scheduled for May 9th. Please dont feel that I have abandoned ya'll, I could never do that. I read each and every posts and have prayed for all of ya'll. I am so pleased that is finally on the road to recovery and hope she enjoys her pizza. Patty I hope your MRCP goes well today and you dont have any ill side affects from it. If anybody wishes to talk to me personally, please feel free to email me at cdrrn @ cchat .com I will respond. Warmly,
