Guest guest
Definitely!! It is due to this pain and vomiting that I am now on Disability and have been receiving SSDI for the last 5 years. The pain is so bad at times that I am forced to go long stretches without anything to eat other than a can or 2 of Ensure. This could last from a couple of days to as long as a month in this fashion, until I feel that my Pancreas is settled down enough for me to introduce food back into my system. Thus the recent interest once again in getting the Pancreaectomy/Islet-Cell Tarnsplantation Surgery. The thought of living the way I am currently living with all of the pain and other associated symptoms of my illness is not a pleasant thought for me, to say the least. I'd rather not live a long life if it is to be in this condition... Andre' > I guess were the lucky ones! Do u still get pain & nausea? > > A Ruggieri > > Re: To Karyn > > > > Same here. Guest guest
Yes, most definitely!! It got so bad that I was forced out of work back in 2000 and have been on disability ever since. I've now been told that I will never again be able to work again, in all likelyhood which is a blow to me since I am only 52 yrs old! I basically have no life...
