Guest guest
Hi Chrissy, sorry to hear about the hernia although I know you suspected it. I hope it's done quickly. keyhole will be great. I hope they find that new sort of mesh which will not give you a bad reaction. How is pain and discomfort just now? My panc is not too bad, considering recent stress etc. Gluten-free definitely helps. Dr Lombard was right about my being coeliac as well as having advanced CP.If I deal with both conditions, for the moment I can keep reasonably well. Mind you, we all know how that can change with the pancreas! Jim is progressing well. Longer daily walks on his own now and eating well. Take care, With love, Fliss (UK)
Guest guest
May I ask the location at which you experience hiatal hernia pain, if you can distinguish that from other pain. I have been trying unsuccessfully for some time to get an answer from docs and nurses as to whether all or part of the pain I experience behind lower left rib about 3 inches from center could be from the moderate hiatal hernia I have, rather than from my pseudocyst. When it occurs I also get a hard lump at that spot that bulges and receeds as often as once a minute our so, or when I press on it. Kurt (CA) I have had a small > sliding > hiata hernia for years that does cause me pain & mucho indigestion > when > acting up.
