Guest guest
thank you so much for the warm thoughts. I also hope he can do it the easy way. the stupid thing has gotten bigger and now reaches accross to the otherside of the incision. It hurts like the devil, but no where near as bad as cp. I think I canhandle any sort of discomfort now after haveing dealt with all that I have. The date is good too, after Mother's Day and this huge Shrimp Festival in my little rural fishing town that I have not been able to attend the last few years. I have decided to slow down a litttle on the job search. However, I did decided to be more proactive. I remembered something my Daddy used to say all the time " God helps those who help themselves " . So I have gotten in touch with a few of the surgeons I used to work with often and ask if they would write me a letter of recommendation. I seriously doubted they would even remember me, its been, for all accounts and purposes, over a year since I worked. Well to my surprise I have already heard from 2 that will do just that. I'm just tickled pink. I am so very glad that Jim is recovering so well. That is excellent news. He's a fighter and must get that from you. I had assumed you had celiac disease. You had been on the gluten diet for so long and I remember when you had gone off it for a few days and how your body reacted. I know it must be very gratifying to know that all your efforts through the years has paid off so well. Imagine how you would be had you not taken those 'proactive' steps yourself. I hope things settle with your panc now that Jim is doing well. Stress and cp is not a good combination at all. Now tht I think about it, cp does not combine well with much...lol It is good to hear from you and hope that you and Jim continue to improve everyday. The Conclaive starts today, it should be very interesting. With love, Chrissy
