Guest guest
We are getting ready to start this diet with-in the next 2 weeks. And I have great concerns about my 10yo daughter eating things that might affect the diet. Example would be she would eat cat/dog food if found or paper etc. Will this affect the outcome of the diet? There is no way that I can keep her from getting this in her system no matter how hard I would try. I guess I should say that Em has the mental age of 12-18 months but is physically strong. Thanks. Guest guest
Amy, We had the same concerns about our boys getting into cat food or even putting cat throw up in their mouths before I could get it cleaned up (I know that sound gross but it was an issue). We switched our cats to a totally gluten free cat food called EVO. It is made with meat, eggs, and vegetables. What is funny is now our cats don't throw up anywhere near as much. I think they also had a gluten issue. Hope this helps and welcome to the group/diet!
