We are getting ready to start this diet with-in the next 2 weeks. And I have

great concerns about my 10yo daughter eating things that might affect the diet.

Example would be she would eat cat/dog food if found or paper etc. Will this

affect the outcome of the diet? There is no way that I can keep her from getting

this in her system no matter how hard I would try. I guess I should say that Em

has the mental age of 12-18 months but is physically strong.

Thanks.

Amy,

We had the same concerns about our boys getting into cat food or even putting

cat throw up in their mouths before I could get it cleaned up (I know that sound

gross but it was an issue). We switched our cats to a totally gluten free cat

food called EVO. It is made with meat, eggs, and vegetables. What is funny is

now our cats don't throw up anywhere near as much. I think they also had a

gluten issue.

Hope this helps and welcome to the group/diet!
