Guest guest
Hi Kurt, just saw your question to me, can't seem to get the hang of this new yahoo message board, like the most recent are what? previous? or next? & when u go back & look old ones up, then I seem not to be able to find the current ones....help! Anyway re my hernia which I have had for over 25 years now, and do not have pysdocysts (sp?) ....but my pain is between the breasts in the middle with a reflux of bile, not acid, according to the G.I. under endoscopy. I also have esophageheal spasms which might also be the source of some pain, cause if I eat something really solid, like a bagel or thick bread, the esophagus does not propel the food down in that area well. I had the mamonetry test which showed I have mild to moderate motility problems or bad peristalsis. It aches & I have found Aloe Vera gel liquid in a glass of water daily has really helped, also good for constipation & any inflammation of the digestive tract & cheap too, cause u only use a couple of drops. Of course sometimes I really don't know whether it is the epigastric pain that is causing the other pain cause when the esophagus rages, the pancreas is also really sore to the touch. This probably does not help much, but my hernia is at the lower end of the esophagus, which should be pretty much between the breasts in the middle, anything lower down would I think be from something else? Good luck! Just remembered, when I first had this I thought I was having a heart attack cause I could not breathe, and in fact they told me when I really do have one it would be very hard to distinguish between it & the esophagus pain or spasms & I can't really tell you if the spasms have anthing to do with the hiatal hernia...they usually don't do anything for them not unless they are gigantic, but it does not help having it either. Heidi knows all about the pseudocysts......have a semi-pain free day Karl.....sincerely Glentzes in ton, S.C.
