Yes we love you!!. i personally love you too. You are a valued member of

our group. I am happy that you are on the other side. We are here for

you... you know that.

I dont understand why you think your stomach is too large. I was told that

our new stomachs should hold from 4 to 8 oz. You are also only doing liquids

so I wouldnt worry much because you can drink 8 oz. Im sure your body was

" thirsty " for fluids.

(Warning: now I'm gonna get on my soapbox)

You should know (since it was one of the pages you had to write about in your

patient letter), that post -op depression is very common. Your support

people should be aware of this and know the signs. The last few posts that

you have written seem to show the signs. Maybe you should talk to someone

about your " blue " feelings or explore drug therapy. You know also that all

of us are here to support you.

I've been back now since the 16th or so and am feeling a bit blue especially

because I think my stomach turned out too big. Boo hoo.

So anyone who has a little cheer to spare and wants to send it my way--all

submissions will be read. BTW--there were over 1400 items in my mailbox when

I got back. So if you wrote me and I did not respond, you know why.

My friends Trude and Jude and Jen and Cat and Flo and Debbie from CO and

Christy from CA and Lara Akin + Mom, not to mention DR.R----you all are the

greatest and I feel enriched knowing you. If I left anyone out it's because

I'm self-obsessed.

Love you all!!!!!

Thanks for the love and support. Definitely needed!

Actually, I have been doing a little more than liquids. I have been having

those mashed potatoes that come in a cardboard cup that you pour hot water on

and some noodles that are like that. And I feel hungry all the time! So I'm

trying to figure out what's going on. I guess time will tell. Perhaps I should

blame myself cause I should only be doing liquids, but I'm so darn hungry! I

just don't know. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

Love,

Sperb
