Guest guest
Hello, I have a question about a test. My doc called me today to say that there is one test we have not performed and 2 specialists (Stockholm-Sweden) are working on it and describing my case they think I can suffer from this nerveinflammation in the small intestines as well as a probable CP, the two can also be connected or not? I have some more symptoms that they relate to somewhat even more, as if CP on its own, regarding to what I have experienced and confirmed by many of you couldnt give all these symptoms by itself. They dont know anything about CP, just try to put me into someone elses hands, ward, care? The test, has anyone done it? Through the nose they will have these testslings going down to duodenum measuring the activities in the small intestine and also at times injecting something to stop the activity and measure throughout 24 hours, first giving me food that I really cant eat and havent eaten in two years-hasch- meat, potatoes, onion-fried and I will go home and will not be able to stay in hospital because of lack of space, the small computer on me mesuring, can take Creon but no painkillers. This will kill me! I have just been on 10 days liquid diet becuase of pain, but they dont seem to care! They saw me when I was 20 pounds less a year back 2 weeks in hospital, do they want me there again? But no space! Next morning going back to have breakfast there, normal breakfast! Outch, I am on low fat diet, lactos and gluten free it have helped me throughout this year, but in Sweden they dont beleive in it. I feel as a testing rat! Is this something any of you have been through? Or suggested to do? Bye for now, thinking of you and reading your mails. Thanks God you are there, dont know how I would do without you. Guest guest
Sonja, I'd tell them they can only do the test when they have space for you in the hospital, because one way or another, you'll end up there because of this test. Why won't they allow you to take the pain killers? That's inhuman to require a person to eat foods guaranteed to cause a pancreatic attack in a person with CP and then refuse to allow them pain relief. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
