Guest guest
Hey all, Someone was telling me that if your insurance will pay for the MGB that it will also pay for the tummy tuck. Is this true? I viewed the website just posted about tt, is it really necessary to be cut that much for a tt? Scary, since we just have the 5 small ports. But, I am jumping the gun a little... I have to get the MGB first! LOL ;o) Audra MGB hopeful in NC _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. Guest guest
Audra, Maybe you won't need a tummy tuck!!! I'm planning on exercising (water aerobics first), and trying to tighten up!! Also, someone mentioned that burn units will give you a free tummy tuck, and more for your left over skin... I'm remembering that one just incase I need it later.. Guest guest
Jen, It was for real. I guess, they need skin, especially in big patches, and they will do the surgery for free if you will simply donate the skin! They are excellent surgeons, you can imagine after all they do cosmetic surgery for burn victims etc. Trudy Re: Tummy Tuck Trudy---is that for real or just a joke?? Guest guest
Hi Ya All from Philadelphia Regarding the family support of the paperwork (have all done but that)...Did your spouses write a letter, sisters, mom, bro, kids? My husband is not so excited about writing a letter because he is scared of the long term outcome. Anyone have any thoughts on this. Romy Re: Tummy Tuck Jen, It was for real. Guest guest
My husband told me what to write, he signed it. He just said that he wanted what was best for me, and he knew how unhealthy and unhappy I was from being fat, and how many times I've tried dieting and failed. My mom did the same thing. My sister told of how she wanted to share grandmotherhood with me. Trudy Re: Tummy Tuck Trudy---is that for real or just a joke?? About the Burn unit??? never heard such thing! Guest guest
Janet, I really hadn't checked into it at all. I was going to (when I needed it). Someone had just mentioned it to me when I first started to post on here. I'll check my saved drafts and see if I come up with a name.. It kinda makes sense tho. doesn't it? Although, I did always think that a person's implant of skin would have to be well selected or your body would reject it like any other organ, correct? Trudy Re: Tummy Tuck > > > Trudy---is that for real or just a joke?? About the Burn unit??? > never heard such thing! > Jen > >
