Guest guest
Hi Suzi! Of course I remember! New Year was so exciting with that lemonade! NOT! Of course I will let you know if I find anything. I have already searched for coeliac/CP links but to little avail. I'll certainly be looking at autoimmune diseases more. I'm glad the GF diet is helping even a little. Can you digest lactose? When coeliac disease is particularly bad, especially at the beginning before the correct diet takes effect, lactase may not be produced in sufficient quantity to digest foods containing lactose. Once gluten is not being consumed, the villi have recovered and the lining of the gut is more normal, this problem usually goes away. In my case, there was never a complete recovery so I have continued to have problems with lactose-containing foods. Let's keep in touch. Take care!
