Guest guest
Just thought I'd give the instructions of straining seeds out of berry purees for those who weren't used to cooking much prior to SCD. You'll want a fine mesh strainer. Place the strainer over a bowl. After you puree your berries, pour the puree into the strainer. Use a spatula to push the puree through the strainer. Pres until all of the puree has made its way through. The seeds will be left in the strainer, and you'll have a smooth, seed free puree. This will be good if you just don't like little seeds in your puree, or if you still need the seeds removed. Enjoy the sorbet.
