Guest guest
Hi Elaine, << Could someone tell me if beetroot is legal? I can only see beet on food list. Is that the same? > Many thanks > Elaine>> Beetroot is the same as beets and are legal. They are high in natural sucrose. When you try them start with a small amount. Sugar beets are not legal. Guest guest
Hi jo, << I use organic beet root powder and all it is is beets. Gotta > laugh at the little stuff!>> Pure powdered beet root would be legal but it is high in natural sucrose. This should be used cautiously at the beginning of the diet because it may feed some of the heartier microbes. Many have to wait to tolerate beets. If your son doesn't progress quickly you may try removing it to see if that helps. Sheila, SCD Feb. 2001, UC 23yrs mom of and
