Guest guest
I have been reading your post but have been sleeping so much since Sunday afternoon, dont know what has gotten into me, but I have been sleeping constantly. Hope its passed now, Ihave got so much to do to prepare my family for my absence next week. I usually cook a bunch of meals and pack them away in the freezer. This weekend I have plans for both Sat and sun, so I really need to snap out of it, wake up and get busy. Well this is what you need to do for the doc you want to see. Call them every day, say around 10ish or so and ask if there is a cancellation. And I mean EVERYDAY. They will eventually get you in just to shut you up...LOL. Besides, when they check the answering machine in the morning when they come in at 9 its takes about 30 minutes to decide what to do about the cancellations. Usually they dont call people in unless there are a lot. They like the down time. But if you are calling, and calling often, your name will quickly become a fixture around there. I hope you feel better soon. Have you mentioned to Cotton all that is going on with your pain issues. I think that he would be very upset to learn that you are having such troubles. Also a letter from him explaining your condition may change the attitudes of some of those jerky docs. Take care and keep in touch. Guest guest
Actually I had asked him if my doc was willing to work with him would he be willing and he has no problem with that. Its just my family doc doesn't want to do any pain management! Geeze what happened to medicine inthe last few years. I may try the cancellation thing. That might just work. The case worker for the insurance company is going to try some of her magic tricks. Don't know if it will work but we will see. Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it. I wish you well with your surgery and you are in my prayers. I still won't ever forget how good of care you took of me.
