Guest guest
I was heating my goat milk on the stove and briefly forgot about it. It got up to 200 degrees. It quickly came down to 185. Is it ruined??
Guest guest
I'm bringing this back up. I still have my yogurt in the maker and would still like to know if it's any good. Can anyone help me?? The only thing I could find online is to not heat goat milk above 185 degress because it's delicate. What happens? Does it just loose its probiotic benefits, is it no longer edible? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! > > I was heating my goat milk on the stove and briefly forgot about it. > It got up to 200 degrees. It quickly came down to 185. Guest guest
I really don't know what happens if you heat it too much. I think it would run the risk of being scorched, but it shouldn't have any bearing on whether the probiotic is effective or not unless you don't cool it back down to room temp. I'd use it anyway as long as it tastes the same. Meleah Re: yogurt error/? I'm bringing this back up. I still have my yogurt in the maker and would still like to know if it's any good.
