Guest guest
Hi I just started the diet Friday for my 9 year old son who has autism and seizures. He is on no meds, none would work and I guess it was really a blessing. Over a year ago he was eating only 4 foods because of food allergies causing seizures. One day he came to and was almost normal, although a little behind. After 1 1/2 weeks, he got a hold of a white bun and regressed horribly. I kept thinking it had something to do with gluten. I've had him on the gluten free diet since then, but he hasn't come back to us til now. It had been puzzling me. The tests said no yeast and no leaky gut. Then I read the book Saturday and I am really excited! Everyday he is adding words to his very small vocabulary and we are thrilled! He is keeping his pull-up dry now, even overnight. He lets me hold his hand and he is SO happy. I'm one of those moms who gets her kid back! We went to a family party on Saturday and everyone noticed the change in him. If only I had known! I had to share with someone, no else seems to undertstand the ordeal our life had become over the past 6 years. Good luck to everyone. I'm sure I will be posting with questions. Thank you! jo

Guest guest
Jo, I'm so happy for you. It is so amazing what food can do to a person's body. It is a real blessing when our children return to us the way God had intended for them to be before the regression set in.
