Yogurt maker high temps question

I have a Yogourmet Yogurt maker also and after reading the many discussions

regarding the high temp, I decided to check mine several times during the 24

hours process. When it got to 115 degrees, I would unplug let cool down to 100%

and plug back in. But it consistently got up to 115-120 degrees. So, I decided

since my boys do not need the lactose that did not get used up in the

fermentation process, I would start making cabbage juice instead. (Still

learning about that) So, right now, I am just doing probiotic capsules a couple

of times a day and coconut oil. Garrett has been acting like he just doesn't

feel great the past few days. Could this be die off now that they are not

getting yogurt that still contained lactose?

Just curious.

i don't have a yogourmet so can't make a specific recommendation but

i find that there is usually some modification that can be done(like

drilling a hole on the right place) to get electrical appliances

working better

What kind of symptoms? If he is having stomach pains or other gastro

symps he is probably missing the yogurt.

Did you measure the temp in the water or in the yogurt?

Did you give him yogurt since starting - or - If you introduced

slowly did you notice negative symptoms when you started?

I think your yogurt may be fine.

I tested my yogurt and the water several times and it was up to 126

degrees. I assume mine was not useable. I even had the metal rack

under it. Does anyone have any other suggestions for this problem?
