Guest guest
How did your procedure go? I am also going to Minn to have my surgery done by Dr. Sutherland. Did you like him as a surgen? I have heard that they are pretty good about making sure you are comfortable and aren't in any pain. Do you think that if I have my surgery in JUne 10 that I will be able to go to school at the end of Aug? Thats kinda what i am worried about I am also moving into my first duplex with friends and i am so excited that and i don't want to miss out on it. thanks for answering all my questions. Thanks St. Louis MO Darren Olson wrote:Hi , I know how you feel about the TP/ICT. I felt the same way before I had mine. I couldn't make up my mind. It is a big decision. I had mine done on Sept. 24th, 2004 with Dr. Sutherland. For me it was the best thing I could have done. The surgery wasn't easy but I would do it all over again if I had to. I am now diabetic but would rather be diabetic than to go through all that pain I used to have. I don't know how I made it for 2 1/2 years suffering. I wish I would have went in sooner then I might have had more islet cells to transplant. I started back to work 1/2 days 6 weeks after my surgery and at 8 weeks I was back full-time again. I feel great now and have no pain! If you have any questions please feel free to contact me anytime. Take care!! Darren
