Hi,

I posted a few days ago about starting this diet. I am now feeling

worse than when I started. My belly is so bloated - I'm taking oil of

oregano, soil based probiotics, activated charcoal. Is this normal

when starting the diet? Oh, I'm also taking Candex. I work a very

demanding job and can't afford to feel worse!

Thanks,

Hi ,

Welcome to the list! I am sorry but soil based organisms are not SCD

legal. Here is more info about them:

Yes, it is very common to have initial temporary symptoms when

starting the diet. It means that you have gram negative bacteria in

your gut and that they are dying.

Thank you so much, Mimi. I had no idea about the SBOs being a

problem or not taking anti fungals in the beginning. I really love

this SCD approach more and more. Its so natural and doesn't involve

huge payouts of money.
