Guest guest
Hi Tony, <<A fourty year old friend of mine has a moderate to severe case of rumatory arthritus and asked if our diet would help his condition. Some have found that the diet helped tremendously with their arthritis and others didn't. It may be linked to the types of legal foods they eat but it is hard to say because there haven't been a large number of reports over the years. If your friend has any food triggers that cause inflammation they should be avoided at the onset of the diet and then cautiously tried one at a time. For example: some people find that dairy worsens rheumatoid arthritis. If your friend tries the diet he should probably start with the dairy free intro and when ready to try dairy start with small amounts and unless he has not eaten dairy in a long time the yogurt would probably be the best starting point (for his case). Also some people find that fish and fish oils reduce inflammation. Sheila, SCD Feb. 2001, UC 23 yrs mom of and
