Guest guest
Jim, Thank you for telling us your story. It sounds as though you've received appropriate treatment and now have a good relationship with your specialist. Finding out that there was a reputable and experienced specialist in the Burlington area is of great interest to me. We've had two members in the past that have been from that area, or northern Vermont, and at that time there were no doctors to recommend. It would be valuable information to have, no only for those in upper Vermont, but also upperstate New York and the Adirondack region. Is this doctor affiliated with the Medical University of Vermont? I grew up in Lake Placid in the Adirondacks, and whenever we needed specialized care, we'd get on the ferry or drive down to the bridge and go to doctors that were connected with the Medical Center. I've spent a good many weeks in the hospital there after surgery. You must feel appreciative to have such a good relationship with your doctor. So many people don't, and finding a good one is a real bonus, both for your health and your sense of well being. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina Rep.
