Is Flax Seed Meal allowed? If not, why?

Is there a good substitute for eggs when allergic that will work well

especially for baking?

Is Xanthan Gum allowed?

What to do when you are allergic to chicken, fish, and beef?

What to do when you are allergic to dairy/cassein?

allergy meaning anaphlyactic,hives,or polka dots?

Thank you for helping me. Lynne

Hi Lynne,

I will be interested to hear what the moderators have to say about your

questions. MY answer is: if you are severely allergic to eggs, chicken, fish,

beef and dairy, then SCD is probably not the right diet for you, unless you

don't mind only eating pork, vegs and fruits. You didn't mention nut products.

Are you not allergic to nuts? (Would be kind of surprising to me, given the

other allergies).

Good luck with finding what works to bring you back to health.

Sorry, but it is not legal...

You avoid foods that provoke an anaphlyactic reaction. You might try

them in a doctors office to see if they go away aftr being on SCD for

many months. However you may eat foods that do not provoke a serious

reaction.

Are you okay with wild meat (moose, rabbit, bison etc.) What about

turkey, pork? I can't eat regular store meats but am good with

hormone free meats, including game and wild meat.

Are you allergic (anaphylactic reaction) to all eggs or is it just

store bought chicken eggs. Some have found they are okay with duck

eggs or free range eggs.
