Guest guest
After 10 mos SCD with moderate improvement, I've decided to remove eggs from my son's diet. I just reviewed the egg free recipes and discovered the egg free replacers. Has anyone had luck using this in making the pizza crust recipe (BTVC)? Also, what about for making fried chicken? Would the egg replacer survive the heat from the oil? I've tried making fried chix in the past without eggs, but the almond flour wouldn't stick. Thanks, Mom to Jack, 5yrs, ASD, 10mos SCD
Guest guest
, What kind of egg replacers are you using? Commercial egg replacers are not SCD legal. I am sure that you meant the ones we recommend; I just am clarifying things for the list. Mimi > After 10 mos SCD with moderate improvement, I've decided to remove eggs > from my son's diet. Guest guest
I'm talking about the ones on the pecanbread website, recipes section. > > After 10 mos SCD with moderate improvement, I've decided to remove eggs > > from my son's diet. Guest guest
I'm not sure if you received my message - it was returned as undeliverable to me. My response was that I got the recipe for the egg replacer off the pecanbread website. I just used the gelatin version in making almond flatbread (Healing Little Tummies SCD Cookbook), and it came out tasty, but fudgy (not breadlike at all). Suggestions??? I really want to make pizza crust but I fear the same fudgy result. Mom to Jack, 5 yrs, ASD, 10mos SCD Re: Egg Replacer , What kind of egg replacers are you using?
