I bought some Danone naturalia plain yogurt. It seems to have a lot of

ingredients in it..skim milk, concentrated skim milk, cream, milk and

whey protein concentrates, active bacterial cultures. Is this the

right one to use to start scd yogurt? I have found no other kind at

the store.

Thanks,

Cathy

I use the Danone plain yogurt as a starter and have

since the start of the diet. It works great! As long

as it is Danone and plain, I believe you are ok with

it.

Danone is fine for those who can tolerate cow milk products. If your

child has severe problems with dairy, then we recommend using a yogurt

starter.

Thanks for the replies. I know goat's is recomended by the list. I was

using progurt, but It had been left out of the frig and my yogurt

became way too runny. I have progurt on back order...i didn't want to

stop the yogurt...as far as i know; my son does not have severe

problems with cow milk...we will see.
