Had the ERCP done Friday which is just a scope

Hi everyone,

I had my scope done on Friday and the doctor took a couple of biopsy of

my stomach and my esophagus that concerns me a little since they only

take those when something looks suspicious. He told me to call him in a

week for the results.

I am praying everything is okay since my nausea has gotten worse. I'll

let you know what the results are when I find out.

Janet,

I thought biopsies were pretty much a standard procedure as long as

they were in there with the scope. I had an upper endoscopy and

colonscopy and my GI took biopsies from each. He explained to me that

it was just their " standard " procedure, helpful since they were

already in there.

Try not to worry too much. You know that whatever the outcome, you

can do your best to work it out. Please let us know when you hear

something.
