Guest guest
Hi Kris, Glad to hear there has been an improvement in your coeliac condition. I too experienced about the same rate of improvement...never 100%. I've had a couple of e-mails from the doc who is the Europac co- ordinator. (Europac is the research project on hereditary pancreatitis throughout Europe. Liverpool coordinates this project.) He was asking how I got on at my last appointment as he'd happened to catch sight of me as he went through the clinic last week. I told him about the blood tests for autoimmune. He didn't throw much light on the problem; I just have to wait for the blood test results. I followed up the link Jim gave us...the Journal of the Pancreas www.joplink.net and I found the article concerned. It was very interesting. The description of the pancreas definitely doesn't match mine!! However, we'll wait and see. I'm looking forward to a longer discussion on this isse when I next see one of the team. Do take care and enjoy the summer! We don't break up until mid-July so we have quite a way to go! With warm wishes, Fliss (UK)
