The yogurt will be made with different yogurt makers and then sent to a lab where the lactose levels will be measured. The process will be started in a few days. I just got my yogurt maker and would like to start making yogurt this weekend. Can you briefly tell me what this discussion is about? This may be because the yogurt makers were not designed to run for 24 hours. Although we are not certain this is even a problem, there is some concern that the bacteria would be killed off to some extent and not consume all the lactose.
