Hi everyone I had surg. on 11/8 I weighed for the first time today and I have

lost 20 lbs.

I'm doing fine and looking foward to starting to add some different foods...

How great!!! would you email me and let me know of your RNY experience???

My doc referred me to a specialist and he does the lap RNY. Thanks for you

time,

hi lynettee my experience was great i feel great the lap is the way to go i

wanted up from surgery in the recovery room i have not been able to eat much

yet i had it done on the 11th weighted in on the 20th ,42 lbs gone and was to

start fase two of the diet tryed one half bite of fish thought i was going to

die it was terrible feeling and now i am having yoguart now not to much of

foods protein shakes and slim fast that is the diet for me so far , bye the

way when is your surgery and were you going to have it bye the way i have a

infection in one of the incisions now taking meds for it got to go back to

pittsburgh on the 8th of dec will weigh in then well keep in touch vanessa

from ohio good luck.

No date set for the surgery yet, still waiting on the insurance company to

decide what they want to do. I am in Virginia, and my PCP referred me to a doc

in VA Beach that does the Lap RNY. I hear so many good things from this group.

Dr R's manual talked about " NO RNY " , so it scared me a bit to think that this is

the surgery that would be performed on me. Then I saw your posts...thanks for

the info and best wishes to everyone.
