Guest guest
Hi Heidi Thanks I have read both of those things you posted. I do not have pain all over my body or worse in mornign etc. I have spoken to my mum She has done soem investigating with a specialist pain clinc here. They asked her was this guy a foreigner? eg and how long was he here? Yes he is, they have seen this stuff happen before with them. I never signed any consents for any procedures and they said it would never happen in the rest of NZ. They were appalled that he suggested shock treatment an dmultiple epidurals and blind tests. they have said to challenge what he has done take an advocate in, go see head of hospital, and then go to them for a referral. They will take me. I cried when my mum posted me answers to my questions,at last someone was helping me. They believe that I have a case for medical damages from previous surgeries and question the ethics here in these tests. They also said it is not appropriate that I have been like this for 6 years I had signed no consents for these tests, and he repeatedly told me he would tell me what drugs etc and explain, which the other day when I asked what drug which one, he would not tell me so, I am going to get a list of questiosn together and my mum will come with me. to see head of pain team. then I will get a refrral to the other clinic. Guest guest
Thank goodness Debs, I'd be making it one of my missions in life to have this doctor's licence taken away from him... I hope you are finally put onto the right path to get some pain control for your suffering..
Guest guest
Debs, Fantastic!!! I agree with everything that the people at this pain clinic said to your mum.....none of this should have happened to you! You didn't mention that this man was a foreigner, or if you did, I didn't see it. That would have made me suspicious right off. The things he did to you, and then refusing to tell you what you were tested with and suggesting such bizarre and unappropriate treatments all reeks of tremendously unethical and dangerous practice. I'm so glad that you got your mum involved in this and that she was able to talk with some " real " specialists for you, and that they will take you on as a patient. YEA!!!! It sounds as though they are willing to advise you on how to put the screws to Doctor Dangerous so he won't be able to pull the wool over the eyes of some other innocent pain patient like he tried with you. This news is so much more encouraging, you must feel very relieved. Take your mum in there with you, and let her help you stand up for your rights. I am so relieved to hear that you won't have to deal with or see this quack anymore! Better days are ahead. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Guest guest
Debs, I am so glad that your mum is helping you get to this other pain clinic and that you can seek damages for what this horrible doctor has done to you, especially since you signed no consent forms. Please, please, let me know how things with the head of the pain team goes and how your first appointment with this other clinic goes. I have been soooo worried about you.
