Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has any particularly good links for burn-

out? I'd like to read as much about it as I can.

I suppose it could be interpreted in different ways? It could mean

simply the end of all the pancreatic functions, exocrine and endocrine.

I presume that some people may be pain-free by this time because the

pancreas is no longer becoming inflamed. It is no longer trying to do

20 impossible jobs at the same time.

On the other hand, it isn't surprising that some people still

experience pain, even when their pancreatic functions have ceased;

some TP patients can feel pain even when the whole pancreas has gone.

Even a small amount of pancreatic tissue can become inflamed.

Of course, I'm surmising all the way! If anyone knows of an

authoritative link for this subject, I'd be so grateful.

Many thanks and warm wishes to all,

Fliss (UK)
