Guest guest
Debs, I've had two concussions, one from a fall water skiing where I hit my head on a submerged log and the other was during an alpine ski racing event. Both of these were many, many years ago. Have you seen a doctor? You should see a doctor for this. Bed rest is recommended, with precautions made to see that the patient doesn't go to sleep for any great length of time. Tylenol or Excedrin for the head ache. If you have any spells of light headedness, severe fatigue, or fever, you chould go to the hospital immediately Please be careful, and report ANY unusual symptoms to a doctor. Also, just an FYI, " No matter how much fun and easy it might look like, anyone over 40 shouldn't even think about getting on a skateboard. " We heal too slowly to ever take that chance.
