Guest guest
Hi Debbie: Thank you for your response. My son does take folic acid, when our son was scoped the GI doc said he did not have celiac nor cohn's which is great but he did say he had inflammation and little reflux and our son has been on SCD for 3yrs, so he wants him on these meds. to help along the healing process. Thanks Jeanne Tex Debl wrote: Hi, I'm 38 with crohn's disease and I take Pentasa/Protonix (instead of Pepcid). Neither seem to bother me and the Pentasa has really made a difference when I've eaten something I shouldn't have. I usually take it after I eat. The protonix, I don't need as often as I used to but I'm on a limited diet. I hope he feels better soon. I try to take folic acid extra because someone told me I may need it but I don't think it's a " true " sulfa drug. Maybe someone else knows. It's in my multi anyway.
