Guest guest
Just got home from hospital so I've not read the past few posts so just jumping in. I had excruciating pain and they took out my gb. I still had the horrible pain and went through hell questioning my home dosage of painkillers, my psychiatric state and a whole host of others. The doc was giving me morphine and T3's for pain. Finally convinced one doc that I should not have codeine, and he went to check and said, I should not have morphine either. Remember I asked you all about this about a month ago. They finally (after a week of suffering) decided to take me off both and give me demerol. Then when I left the hospital they gave me prescription for codeine again. I'm so frustrated, so afraid to take these drugs, and I still have pain and now the added problem of feeling chills and nausea and diarrea or however you spell it.Are these doctors all idiots or is mine specializing? I'm very depressed because I feel so weak and sick and don't know how I'll ever get better. Tum
Guest guest
Tum, I am so sorry for all you are going through. What an awful dilemma! I do hope they will help you. Is there another doctor who can prescribe you what you know will work?
