Guest guest
I need some help of when I'll know it's OK to move from stage 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 etc. How will I really know this for my son who can't tell me? I wish the website or someone could give me usual amounts of time or suggestions. Thanks! Cheryl
Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, << I need some help of when I'll know it's OK to move from stage 1 to 2 > and 2 to 3 etc. How will I really know this for my son who can't tell > me? I wish the website or someone could give me usual amounts of time > or suggestions.>> It will depend on his symptoms. After the intro gradually add new foods that are increasingly more complex to digest. If you try a food that he doesn't do well with/or his symptoms (or behaviours) return then stop that food and wait before trying it again. You start with cooked peeled fruit and veggies and as he heals increase the complexity. The stages is just a guide to go by that we put together from feedback from the list following the instructions Elaine put in BTVC. Bottom line: Use only small amounts of food when trying a new food, Do only one new food at a time, record any reactions to note progress.
