I am a little overwhelmed by all the vitamins out there (already

looked at all the sources, such as Freeda...

But I am still struggling, too much info...

Maybe someone can help...

My daughter (3 1/2) is currently in stage two.

I like to replace the calcium supplement she is taking with a legal

one. Which one would be a good one?

I am not so sure about Multi Vitamins. She eats an egg, banana,

gelatine, avocado, apple or pear, meats (all possible), veggies (7

different available), seafood and almond butter.

Does she actually need a multivitamin with this variety?

She has good appetite ( I never thought I would ever say that. :)

and gets all the food groups other than the dairy and of course

complex carbs are out of the question too.

What kind of subs. would you recommend in addition to her diet?

The supps that I first started with for my son were simply the acidopholus, a

multivit(Kirkman Everyday Children's), and a fish oil for essential fatty

acids(Nordic Naturals Complete Omega). We're doing some others now due to lab

work showing some other deficiencies, but I'd recommend just starting with

those. My personal opinion is to just drop the calcium rather than switch to a

legal one. There has been some research about calcium oxilates crystals and

stuff. I'm not a good one to explain it all. We haven't used calcium for our

son, and he's just fine. You definitely need to make sure she has the probiotic

in the acidopholus form, and the fish oil and multivit are a good idea, too.
