My ice cream maker seems too light-weight to make ice cream, just

slushies. Honey freezes at a lower temperature than sugar and honey

freezes thick unlike sugar. Can this be a reason why my ice cream has

to be frozen in the freezer for three or four hours instead of just

using the crazy machine?

What kind of ice cream maker do you have? I am a slushie freak.

My Cuisineart makes SCD ice cream with no problem. I think it must be your

machine.
