Pts come in with bags of meds all the time for the same reason you had stated. We are to stand in front of the pt and write down the meds where they can see us as well as any body else in the room, leaning on a bedside table. I am not saying the nurse may have swiped some; I am sure her desk is not in a private location; but I would strongly suggest that you write down all your meds from now on. If that nurse wants to look at you like a ciminal, screw her. You have been completly honest with them from the get go and have nothing to be ashamed of.
