Guest guest
Well my tube is really blocked again. Finally got through to the doctor (well my home nurse came this morning and they actually paged him for her). Doc said that the last bloodwork showed my panc is ok and should be well healed now (though my liver enzymes are elevated but they do not seem concerned about this) so start having clear fluids and he will check on me tomorrow if all is ok he will have my nurse here pull the tube. So, I took my zoloft - liquid that was being put in the tube drank it YUC! Just about threw up! Next tried some warm broth, not bad but nausea is getting bad... took a prevacid it about got stuck in my throat with the tube almost threw it up, more warm broth to wash it down, great now pain like bad indegestion and pressure, not bad but I have a high tolerance so will wait and see. Okay, I know slow down this is the first " food " my stomach has seen in weeks, get a grip and chill... I just feel like we were finally on the right track and I was getting better and I am scared to go back to this crazy cycle of not being able to eat and the nausea and pain with no backup plan. Not saying I like this tube in my throat but at least I was getting the nutrition I needed and I could feel it was helping. I just do not know how to relay to this doc that I think this is what has been going on for the last few years and get his focus off just the ERCP they just did and see the big picture. I know he has not seen me through all this but they have the records that tell all I have been going through (There were never lipase and amalayse tests done before though so they have no previous records to back up what I think - CP). They just want the ERCP and the cutting of the ducts to be a fix and I am just not confident that that is the fix but another procedure that may help for awhile. I am not discrediting that it could be part of the problem But I am also not convinced that was the problem. I have been dealing with this since 2000. Sorry to go on like this...
