Guest guest
Hi, I have a 7 yr old boy w/ ASD and plan on starting SCD in 1 1/2 weeks. He is sensitive to Phenols/Salicylates. When can honey be introduced to the diet and are there any low phenol honeys out there? He seems to react to clover honey. Thanks, Marcia

I saw much calmer, better behaviors since then. There is still plenty of honey in his diet, but now I buy wildflower or alphalfa honey instead of clover. Of course it costs more too! Tracey " Honey can be introduced at the beginning of the diet - it is on the intro. Sheila, SCD, Feb. 2001, UC 23 yrs mom of e and d
