Guest guest
Hi all!! is in room 1071, on the luxurious tenth floor again, this time in an even larger corner room. She has been enjoying a lovely flower arrangement of delicate roses sent my an unamed individual, and was excited to have had phone calls from , Cyndi and . Having so much contact with her friends from the PAI has meant a great deal to her and has done much to contribute to her good spirits, I believe. She was cheerful and not complaining of too much pain.....as long as they keep the dilaudid PCA pumping along!! Her doctor's partner came in with several medical students while I was there and after a short discussion, she agreed to start Chrissy on some whole food this evening. Chrissy is hoping to be released on Sunday, but I think the jury is still out on that, as it will depend upon how well she does with real food. I gave her a PAI laminated bumper-sticker for her car, and she was already talking about copying it and using the logo to put together some CP information to have available in Dr. Adam's office. Always thinking ahead......she was very alert and after two hours non-stop conversation her eyes began to droop so I scooted out of there before she could think of anything more to talk about.....yet she did have the last word before I was able to get the door closed!! She seemed very upbeat and her strength continues to amaze me. I put my fourth visitor's pass in the glove box and pray that that one will be the very last one that I ever have to see for Chrissy. Enough is enough, and I can't think of anyone who needs a break away from Murphey's Law more than she does. I pray that this will be the very last time that she has to set foot in that hospital, unless she's wearing her whites and has a stethascope around her neck!!
