If you can quit the brew entirely it will be the very best thing you

can do for your pain and continuing disability. Even though you may

not feel immediate effects from alcohol consumption, the damage

increases each time you introduce alcohol into your system, and it can

kill you slowly, in a manner that brings unendurable pain and suffering.

I hope you can make this commitment to your health and your life. If

it is too difficult for you to do on your own, find help with AA or

other counseling. It's not something that you are " supposed to do " ,

it's something that you MUST DO to live.

With love, hope and prayers,

Heidi

I know I am suppose to quit. I have only fudged a couple of times since I came

home from the hospital. I have friends and ppl online around me to help me

through. And also the pain that i have been having is another deterrance. I

have tried not to take too many pain pills as they block me up very much. So

for the most part, I have been doing ok. Thanks for writing and giving me

support. This is what I need and am greatful for this group
