Hi!

This is so convenient to purchase and the price is great. I noticed in

the archives that it is illegal. Does anyone know this might be so?

It is everywhere here in Florida and cheap enough at Sam's Club.

It does not fill SCD criteria to be legal. Legal cheese is a natural

cheese that is aged at least 30 days and has a bacterial culture added

to breakdown/ferment the lactose. Queso fresco has no added culture

and is not aged.
