Guest guest
Hi, this is Katy, Amber's mom. I wrote a couple of days ago about bananas causing her gas. She is having less gas and better stools since removing bananas but after two days on the intro she is still severely bloated. Last time on the intro her bloating went away after the second day, The difference is that this time she is eating lots of eggs. The first time I did the intro, she ate a couple of chicken pancakes and about a pound of carrots the first day, and a pound of carrots and nothing else the second day. The third day she woke up very lethargic but not bloated and that's when I started bananas. This time on the intro she has been eating nothing but carrot pancakes -- carrots, eggs, butter, and cinnamon. She is now (day 3) even more bloated than usual and not lethargic this time. Could it be the eggs? I'm planning to start pears today and thought maybe I would eliminate eggs in a few days when she has a few more foods she can eat. Without the carrot pancakes I don't know what she would eat -- she doesn't want plain carrots anymore and usually won't touch plain chicken. Or should I stop the eggs right away? She has been eating 6-8 eggs a day. Is that too much? I know it's not good long-term but I thought for the intro it was okay. Thanks for your help. Guest guest
I'd pull the eggs today. For a child that young, I'd say three eggs per day is plenty anway. Meleah help again - eggs causing gas?
