Database of Interests

I am pleased to say that Karyn has written to me regarding this type

of database for our members.

As a database programmer, I always look for the " easiest " way to run

a database! So, I am setting one up in the next week or so on my

website before we move it to another or just keep it there.

It will include the ability to enter your data and to search for

" any " word in the interest areas! So, you can actually (by a bit of a

few key presses) look for a whole series of interests or just one at

a time.

I also noticed that some of you would like to be able to look for

(and recommend) doctors as well. I can include that rather easily

should you want that.

Now, here is what I need from YOU. (I use caps only for emphasis as I

cant use italics.)

Suggestions that I may need to make your entries of interests easier.

Would you want them in separate " classes " or data entry fields or

would you like to just write a " letter " and, from that, people can

get not only your interests but also a description of your interest

in your own words. This would help others to get more of a " feel " of

your interest (warm, cold, HOT!).

If you like the " letter " method, it could also be applied to the

doctor information part of the database.

This brings great hope to me and, to those who wrote to me in

response to my " Pancreatitis = DEATH! " letter, I thank you. One

person wrote to me personally and, due to a stupid error on my part,

her letter is lost to me as well as my response to her. Can she,

please, send me both for my archives?
