Guest guest
: I hope all is well with you and you have positive results from your doctor on Friday. Please keep us posted. I worry too that I am not getting in enough fluids. I hardly ever feel hungry and need to remind myself that I need to eat. Thank you for all of the insight you have given to the group. I am going to try hard to get more fluids in during the day. Please keep us posted. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Guest guest
Hi Laurie! Can you tell me what exactly you have running through that brain of yours! LOL I have been doing some research myself and ran across a Leukemia site. All of the symptoms that I listed are present with Leukemia. I also read what tests are needed to for a diagnosis and to start it would be the same tests that my pcp ordered yesterday. I did not understand why he was asking to check my platlet levels, and now it all makes sense. When I asked what he was thinking, he blew me off and told me not to worry. He said he would let me know something by Friday. Don't know yet, but I am scared. Thanks Again, --- Dale & Laurie Malony wrote: > Hi , > > I am sure your doc is doing the best he can trying > to weed through all > your symptoms. I am so sorry you are still passing > out. Guest guest
, Please don't panic.. My doctor ran all those same tests when they were checking for hypothyroidism. It is better to have them all run at once instead of doing one and having to have blood drawn for another. I was thinking maybe that sounds like hypoglycemia or diabetes. But you may be having some symptoms from the urinary tract infection. I have a sister that fainted several times because she had a serious UTI. So, please do not panic. The fatigue could come from the malabsorption. If you are dehydrated, alot of those symptoms are there... You could research and find so many things that have those symptoms. I am going to believe that this is just your bodies way of saying, EAT! DRINK! DRINK! DRINK!!! I think you will get good results from tests... I will be praying for you.. In the mean time, get some rest, drink that Gatorade, and eat some protein... in GA 12/15/00 227---140 hopeful

Guest guest
Dear Shrinking Woman: When I heard your symptoms the " L " word did cross my mind. But then I thought about that old Occams Razor thing: the least complex, most direct answer is probably correct. That is to say that you have had a major surgery and a whole bunch of new meds. This is probably the most rational, likely explanation for your symptoms--vitamin deficiency, electrolyte imbalance or even an allergy to a medication could cause these symptoms. Please try not to worry and I hope you start feeling better soon. Love, Sperb >>> shrinkingwoman1@... 11/29/00 12:58PM >>> Hi Laurie!
