Has anyone here had one? I just have really needed to talk to people who understand this, for the past 2 years. " Thank you for the introduction. I understand the need to talk to someone who understands. In case you did not see an earlier email, I wanted to bring to your attention the list of stories posted on the PAI main website, which can be found at: http://pancassociation.org/storieshome.html The stories are cross referenced to types of surgery, so this may be helpful. Many persons have included their contact information, so you can talk with them. I wanted to remind people who have already posted their stories to make sure they are accurately cross referenced. It may be that you have had surgery since they were posted. I am not sure where you live, but I also want to encourage you to attend the 5th Annual Symposium on Pancreatitis. This is an excellent resource and opportunity to talk to persons who have " been there and done that " .
