Janet I would strongly recommend that you report this male nurse to the

supervisor. There is absolutely no reason for a nurse to raise there

voice to a patient, ever. There is also a 30 minute window in which

meds can be given, he could have just as easily given it to you at 3:45

as he could at 4. He was just being a jerk. Also when a patient is

smoking in a room, I know this from personal expereince, it hits you

like a wall the second you walk in; even if they are smoking in the

bathroom, the smell lingers for quite some time. The last thing you

needed at that time was more stress from those accusations.

Thanks for the warm wishes, I am doing better but it will take some

time. Hope you feel better soon and I would certainly report that guy

to somebody.
