when is it safe to add spices? i am doing intro diet and wanted to add

cinnamon to applesauce, but wasn't sure if this is okay, or best to

wait.

has anybody tried to pickle ginger? it is well tolerated and any tips

on how to do?

i would really appreciate any advice, on or off list. thank so you much

You can try some spices after the intro diet. Homemade applesauce is

not on the intro and the intro is only 2-5 days. First start with

homemade applesauce and if that goes well try a little applesauce with

cinnamon.

Spices in general: Just start with a little and if having many symptoms

try to only intro 1 spice at a time.

Ginger is fibrous and it may be best to start with the juice from the

pickled ginger (rich in good bacteria).

I make ginger tea at home with finely grated ginger; strained out of

the tea.
