Guest guest
Hi all, I agree with Mark. There's no way I would let any of the nurses talk to me that way , I would take it as high as I had to till someone made the nurses come in and apologize to me. When I just went in and had my umpteenth ercp this week, I tried to tell the first nurse that they can't do a normal IV line in me due to small veins and she got the worst attitude, she tried to start it anyway saying that the dr's are busy. I stopped her right there and told her she needed to go get an anesthesiologist to do it. My hubby also had to jump in because of her attitude, The last time I went to this acute care unit it took them 7 tries to get a line in because they wouldn't listen and since then I won't allow them to run over me just because " they are the nurses " I know my body more than anyone else!!!! And Oh My if any nurse ever told me what that male nurse said, I'd go right to the cheif of staff about it. If we aren't our best advocates we get trampled on. I hope things turned out for you and you NEVER have to go thru that again. Sandy reno __________________________________ Discover Yahoo! Use Yahoo! to plan a weekend, have fun online and more.
